George joined the club as a junior and did a stint in the 2nd XI before breaking into the 1st XI. He is currently striving to achieve ‘the most prestigious award for wicket keeping’ the Dougy Mattox Award. Cooky was selected in the Jr Carter Cup as an opening pinch hitting batsman, although currently bats at 11 for the Stow 1st XI. In his own words GC “lives for tour”, he went on his first tour with the club in 2006 and has not missed one since.
